BTW, I wonder if The Simpsons paid for sync rights to the tune (CABF01: Lisa the Treehugger)? Generally I haven't noticed Simpsons putting new lyrics to copyrighted tunes; sometimes they'll rerecord something if they can get sync but not master rights, but generally when I've seen them do song parodies of non-PD tunes they tend to rewrite the music as well.
