I'm not sure if that is the exact wording, I just caught the statement as I was walking out of the bedroom. I'll go and check the TV now.
KCBS) - The Scott Peterson double murder trial has been halted until Tuesday.
KCBS reporter Bob Melrose says new evidence may have been uncovered, and the judge ruled it needs to be tested before the trial can resume.
The judge and attorneys spent an hour behind closed doors this morning before coming out and dismissing the jury for the weekend.
Court will be back in session Tuesday morning.
