yeah I know but often as not an article will have a couple of pictures associated with it. I can copy and paste the article but the picture won't come up without some labor.
We got power back in about 12 hours. Of course we had the transformer for the nieghborhood in the next yard too.
Northeast Houston was hammered. Looking back it took around 5 days for power which seemed like 2 weeks. The only people happy were the generator & ice retailers. You could not find a generator for sale in a 500 mile radius.
I know we were lucky. To this day I am thinking that it might be good to have a small generator. But there are other toys, I mean tools I want.
Recently bought a real good one. If one day you have a need for it just PM. I would gladly help. Huh....we'll unless we are in a hurricane, then you would have to fight my wife over it.
I just got a new pressure washer. It is a troybuilt (SP?) 6.5 hp Briggs and straton motor (Actually if you read the small print on the name plate it is made by B&S they just use the name). It is nice.

I guess Western Palm Beach County must be in danger as I just had a minute long "hurricane warning for Palm Beach County until 12:21AM" spot on the television.
Boy do we miss John Hope. This current crop of hurricane gurus have us down here wondering whether to sh*t or wind our watch.
