But it doesn't take a rocket scientist or a theologian to understand that Reagan believed abortion is unmistakably evil. Bush has said "people of good hearts can disagree," and I suppose that is correct. If I were blameless, I guess I'd have a leg to stand on in disagreeing with him. I'm not, obviously.
We all, according to Bush's own faith, will be judged as evil apart from the Grace of God through Jesus Christ. It is not for us to judge individuals as evil, but we can and should determine what is evil and what is not concerning our own individual and national behaviors. The people have determined that murder is evil, which is why it is against the law.
Similarly, we should also determine that putting ourselves in the position of God to dole out the right to life as we see fit is evil. Though it seems merely a theological and impractical question, consider this: If God does not grant the right to life--if the right to life is the result of human choice (a woman's choice) or a product documents and constitutions as the left would have us believe, then none of our rights are safe. You cannot defeat an evil principle unless you are willing to determine that the principle is evil and therefore unacceptable.
Can you give me an example to contradict?
