I like Keyes. I'd vote for Keyes over Obama.
But it's extremely sad that the Illinois GOP has to get an Marylander to run instead of one of the 11+ million people that live in Illinois.
Obama will have a field day in this campaign. All he has to say is "I grew up here. I live here. I cheer for the Bears, not the Redskins(or Ravens), etc"

But, of course, if Obama said that, he'd be lying. Obama grew up in Hawaii, with a few years in Jakarta (after his mother married an Indonesian Muslim) thrown in.
But of course you're right that Obama will play up the fact that he has lived in IL for years while Keyes just moved there.
