If the ad ends up hurting Bush, I doubt it will continue to run nor will people continue supporting it. I used a little poetic license in my headline, it's a marketing thingy.
Fair enough, now that you admit you overstated the sentiment deliberately, and that it wasn't meant to be taken literally, I get it.
I don't think the swiftboat vets care whether it hurts or helps Bush. They want to put out the truth and let the chips fall where they may. I support whatever decision they make. Hopefully, they will make it based on principle and not political expediency. As an aside, if the WH condemns them ala McCain, I will not vote for GWB.
