I wrote this Campign song for Kerry.

Changing with the Wind
Sung to Blowing in the Wind

How many times must he flip flop and flip,
Before he takes a firm stand?
How many lies must he tell about Nam,
Before we all call his hand?
How many times can he vote pro and con,
Before he is totally canned?
His answer my friend, is changing with the wind.
His answer is changing with the wind.
How many times will he say George Bush lied,
Before he tells us a fact?
How many times must I hear him drone on,
And still my ears stay intact?
How many deaths did he cause there in Nam,
With all his appeasements at home?
The answer and trend, John Kerry's not our friend,
The answer's John Kerry's not our friend.
How many terms could John Kerry serve,
Before America's gone?
How many days before he would cave in,
Afraid to protect our home?
How many weeks till he gave us away,
And let the UN take the throne?
The answer my friend, we'd twist in the wind,
The answer is we'd twist in the wind.

This guy has got to be the biggest egotistical idiot ever.

So now he expects us to continue watching Fox news.

Murdoch had better wake up.

I wrote this ad for him. Read it with your best fake Kerry voice.

Kerry 2004

I want to be the President,
Though all know I can’t lead.
I really want the power though,
It’s really what I need.

I’ll lie and cheat and fabricate,
I’ll flip and flop for sure.
The left’s so dumb they’ll vote for me,
For stupid, there’s no cure.

George Bush lied, I’ll chant and sing,
Though I know it’s not true.
I love America I’ll say,
Another lie for you.

I’ll back the UN’s global push,
No sovereignty for us.
The world rides free at our expense,
We’ll even buy the bus.

Let terror rain down on this land,
We really are to blame.
Oh yes, I fought in Viet Nam,
Four months, then home I came.

Three Purple Hearts for paper cuts,
Like some rite of passage.
You bet my name’s John Kerry,
And I approve this message.

The "Kerry Campaign" is comprised of liars, imbeciles, perverts, and thieves.

Chernin would be fired in a New York minute if he endorsed the horse faced socialist phony francophile psychopath.

The move didn't appear to surprise News Corp. Chernin talked to Fox New Channel about the endorsement Wednesday. Appearing on Your World with Neil Cavuto, he said he was not anti-Bush but explained why he thought News Corp. would benefit from a Kerry presidency.

I watch Fox less and less, usually just to watch Hume, who also seems to be there less and less. If he thinks John Kerry is going to improve education through support of the NEA, or global trade with his protectionist rhetoric, he ought to talk to those of us who have overcome both of these obstacles.

I'm not watching Fox News any longer, I can get all of my news here and on C-Span.

TV and Hollywood are in bed together. Fox News has as many liberal personalities as the rest of them they just have a few conservatives thrown in....the other networks just pretend to have conservatives.....some don't even pretend. If Fox News gets too liberal, they will lose their conservative base. In my opinion, they need us more than we need them. I imagine the FCC has entered into the equation as well.

I think the two things that will be most important to News Corp is--one is education.

President Bush ballooned the Dept. Of Ed. budget, and still it isn't enough? Jessie Ventura had one thing right, public education is a black hole. How much money will ever be enough?

For what it's worth, here is a copy of an email I just sent to Sean Hannity:

Dear Mr. Hannity,

I am a long-time fan of both your radio and TV shows. I am writing this to you instead of to your management at Fox News because I thought what I have to say might strike a sympathetic chord with you.

There was a recent story in the news about the endorsement of John Kerry by many corporate CEOs, among them (apparently) Peter Chernin of News Corp., the parent company of Fox News. While it is fine for an individual to support any candidate according to his or her conscience, I believe it is inappropriate for the CEO of any company to endorse a particular candidate as CEO. This is especially the case for a news organization, where this behavior leads to an appearance of bias.

There is very little that I can personally do about this, except for one thing: I will not be watching Fox News again until the day after the election. This is unfortunate, because in the past I have relied upon Fox News to report fairly both sides of the issues of the day. I particularly enjoyed watching your program, Hannity and Colmes. I hope I will enjoy it again after the election.

Sincerely,
G*** B***
Delmar, NY

This explains to me the over fairness that I have seen in Fox the last 3 years.

I cancelled cable to get Fox on Dish. Now, I seldom watch FOX as it is not much better than ABCNNBC BS.

My news mainly comes from Free Republic.

I hope FOX News ratings drop to that of CNN. I will be tuning out especially after the way they went easy on the RAT convention. I think I can make it through my days without ever watching any of the main news stations in anyway. They all suck.

If you recall the media tried to give FL to Gore in 2000
VNS was a private consortium owned by
ABC News, The Associated Press, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, and NBC.

4 of the 5 of the networks and cable newsrooms
(only ABC waited till both time zones closed)
"announced" Gore had won
BEFORE the 2nd time zone in FL had closed.
This cost President Bush votes in the FL panhandle.

I was at a friends house and the State of FL election website results showed President Bush was winning

In fact, the networks which called Florida for Gore did so early in the evening—before polls had even closed in the Florida panhandle, which is part of the Central Time Zone. NBC called Florida for Gore at 7:49:40 p.m., Eastern Time. This was 10 minutes before polls closed in the Florida panhandle. Thirty seconds later, CBS called Florida for Gore. And at 7:52 p.m., Fox called Florida for Gore. Moore never lets the audience know that Fox was among the networks which made the error of calling Florida for Gore prematurely. Then at 8:02 p.m., ABC called Florida for Gore. Only ABC had waited until the Florida polls were closed.

About an hour before the polls closed in panhandle Florida,
the networks called the U.S. Senate race in favor of the Democratic candidate.

The premature calls may have cost Bush thousands of votes from the conservative panhandle, as discouraged last-minute voters heard that their state had already been decided;
some last-minute voters on their way to the polling place turned around and went home. Other voters who were waiting in line left the polling place. In Florida, as elsewhere, voters who have arrived at the polling place before closing time often end up voting after closing time, because of long lines. The conventional wisdom of politics is that supporters of the losing candidate are most likely to give up on voting when they hear that their side has already lost. Thus, on election night 1980, when incumbent President Jimmy Carter gave a concession speech while polls were still open on the west coast, the early concession was blamed for costing the Democrats several Congressional seats in the West, such as that of 20-year incumbent James Corman. The fact that all the networks had declared Reagan a landslide winner while west coast voting was still in progress was also blamed for Democratic losses in the West; Congress even held hearings about prohibiting the disclosure of exit polls before voting had ended in the any of the 48 contiguous states.

Even if the premature television calls affected all potential voters equally, the effect was to reduce Republican votes significantly, because the Florida panhandle is a Republican stronghold. Most of Central Time Zone Florida is in the 1st Congressional District, which is known as the "Redneck Riviera." In that district, Bob Dole beat Bill Clinton by 69,000 votes in 1996, even though Clinton won the state by 300,000 votes.

So depress overall turnout in the panhandle,
and you will necessarily depress more Republican than Democratic votes.

A 2001 study by John Lott suggested that the early calls cost Bush at least 7,500 votes,
and perhaps many more.

At 10:00 p.m., which network took the lead in retracting the premature Florida win for Gore?
The first retracting network was CBS, not Fox.

Over four hours later, at 2:16 a.m., Fox projected Bush as the Florida winner,
as did all the other networks by 2:20 a.m.

At 3:59 a.m., CBS took the lead in retracting the Florida call for Bush. All the other networks, including Fox, followed the CBS lead within eight minutes. That the networks arrived at similar conclusions within a short period of time is not surprising, since they were all using the same data from the Voter News Service. (Linda Mason, Kathleen Francovic & Kathleen Hall Jamieson, “CBS News Coverage of Election Night 2000: Investigation, Analysis, Recommendations” (CBS News, Jan. 2001), pp. 12-25.)

The big 5 media TV and Cable newsrooms are the real threat to the 2004 election.

..."Early on Tuesday, November 7th 2000, TV stations and various media based in Florida reported that Gore has won Florida which was a big surprise for everyone because of strong republican support. Bush's brother Jeb is governor there and Florida usually gives support to the Republicans. Some of them questioned that and during the night CNN showed 52% Bush's lead over 46% for Gore. It is almost impossible to believe that media could have been that blind and biased to report Gore's victory."...

It really pains me to say this, but in my opinion this is simply a craven move on the part of FNC and News Corp in order to curry favor with the left wing and to try to gain acceptance among the so-called mainstream media, and to try to get more viewers during the election season.
