Continuing Questions About Flight By JOE SHARKEY
Published: August 3, 2004
ne of the major remaining questions about Northwest Airlines Flight 327 on June 29 from Detroit to Los Angeles - the flight that was met by federal agents and local police responding to a possible terrorist incident - is this:
Did, as a passenger reported, 7 of the 13 Syrian musicians whose behavior was terrifying some passengers stand up in unison and take strategic positions by the lavatories and the exit door during final approach to Los Angeles, an act that would have been a frighteningly overt and unambiguous provocation?

Also, there were no incendiary devices at Waco. No witnesses saw streaks of light race up towards TWA800. The plane zoom-climbed, it didn't plummet. We missed bin Laden by just an hour.

When I have a moment, I will indeed check this out.
I am in the process of switching residnce.
So I am a bit scattered and surrounded by WAY too many brown boxes!
I also use a Mac.
When I have time, I will sort it out.
Thank you, though, for the advice!
:-)
After she raised hell, there was no choice but to call in the calvary.....
With a smart and careless mouth like that, the air-bitch might just her wish.......
"Encourage" takes time. "Stop" buys time and makes it available for future use in mortality.....
Two air marshals pulled a guy off my daughter's AirTran flight to Dulles Monday night. One marshal was a big black guy in a hawaiian shirt. The other was a "very tough looking woman" (to quote my daughter). Point being - they're not always so obvious.
I'm not an air marshal, and I (one suited guy)do it all the time.
A proper bearing, some proper ID, size, and a well-timed, discrete, and convincing offer to help maintain the cover of air marshals should the $#!t hit the fan is quite winsome.
I don't have short hair, always sit in the back of the aircraft, and, although getting a bit long in the tooth, would rather die or have the merde kicked out of me in a fight than be murdered in cold blood.
I'm quite pragmatic on latter score do indeed eschew a coward's funeral. And I'm afraid that the hard-ass-in-life Marine who helped me to be born and raised me otherwise would kick my candy-@$$ on the other side of the veil while St. Peter laughed at the sight of it all....... 8~)
No idea, but they took a notebook out of his seat. Last my daughter saw of him he was surrounded by the marshals and some "really big DC cops" in the terminal. Have seen nothing on the news. She said he looked Indian or Pakistani.
I asked her that. She goes to school with middle easterners, asians, and Indo-Pakistanis. She was quite sure the guy was the latter.
psst.... 4 planes out of tens of thousands on 9/11... pass it on... just a dry run this time... so nothing to worry about.
