So what is the Gubernator - Pro-gun or anti-gun?

Dunno - both? Judging from his comments during the campaign, I'd guessed anti, and somewhat misinformed.
Of interest is that his staff is asking a pro-2nd lobby group for a lot of information regarding the ammo registration bill, especially what other states do or don't do with registering ammo sales. So, we'll see what happens. If the ammo registration bill makes it to his desk, I'll certainly be contacting his office about it.

SB1152 was NOT heard in the Senate committee today, it was heard in the Assembly Appropriations committee, contrary to the information I'd received via email this morning. It made it out of the Assembly committee. Next stop is the Assembly floor. Contact your Assembly critter!

Bump. As far as I know, SB1152 has not yet been voted on. If you haven't already, contact your assembly critter and tell them to vote "No" on this. If it passes, and the governator should sign it, I don't want to hear any complaining about this latest infringement on our rights if you didn't do anything to stop it. I've found that lots of gun owners complain about the onerous gun laws, but when I ask them if they contacted their assemblymen, senators or the governor when these came up for vote or signing, they just get the deer-in-the-headlights look and stammer out a "N-o-o-o-o, I didn't get around to it".
Oh. I see. Thanks anyway.
