As I said, I'm not a huge fan of boycotts, but still I'm surprised that not only would you buy it, but that you find the decision to send money to Michael Moore such an obvious decision that you add "of course." I'd guess that the overwhelming majority of FReepers would have a different point of view, not that you're not entitled to yours. Of course.
Of course...and as I said, I buy products, not caring if the person that produces it or profits from it is black, white, red, yellow, green, Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, atheist, conservative, liberal, monarchist, gay, straight, American, British, Canadian, Peruvian, Kenyan, Japanese, alien, or whatever.
Maker's Mark and Knob Creek easily beat JD in my book, but both come at something of a price premium. I have heard positive things about Jim Beam Black, but haven't tried it yet. George Dickel puts out a fine product, but I think the true taste winner of mid-priced bourbons is Old Grandad.
I do like OG
I boycott Tillman Fertita's restaurants. I've boycotted him since he held a major fundraiser for Clinton several years ago. Add Joe's Crab Shack, Magnolia Bar and Grill, and Rainforest Cafe to your list. Boycotting his restaurants aren't difficult - there are so many choices in Houston and within that price range I find the Pappa's restaurants to be MUCH better.
