Never trust one frame of one picture to tell the truth of an incident.

Did Bush pretend he was looking through these "capped" field glasses or did he pick them up, put them to his eyes, the camera snapped, he took them down and removed the caps?

Another fraud posting on FR? We all know the press photog's click and click with their auto cameras. This one was caught. I'm sure he was just adjusting the angle of his eye's, just like the Clinton photos a few years ago. Of course, everyone makes much ado about nothing.

That's not Bush's finger on the binoculars, it's a picture frame.

As for Kerry's Uma-Thurman-In-Even-Cowgirls-Get-The-Blues-Long finger?

It's Bush's fault/Haliburton/where are the WMDs?

PS It'll be Bush 54%. :)

Looks like a legit photo, and those binocs have honeycomb "killflash" finlters that prevent off-axis glare from giving away one's position. Pretty routine stiff on the battlefield. And they can have little loop harnesses like you see, so that they can be removed if desired.
