I hope the FBI is rushing to interview Dean ASAP.

Dean claimed that law enforcement in DC told him that the info " was old news -they knew about it long ago."
Three weeks is not " long ago."

If someone in DC law enforcement was aware of buildings being cased - before the Paki computer was obtained-then they obviously have insider knowledge.
This flew right over Matthews head- must have been driven upward by the hot air.

There is a disgruntled CIA operative out there bashing the president and saying he doesn't know why this terror alert was raised.

Leave it to Dean to find the other crazy out there.

I was having this same discussion with a liberal friend last night. He said he was unsure what the American people would do if Al Qaeda pulled a "Spain" on us. I said I pray to God he is wrong (he is) and that he needs to get on-line (FR!) and away from the northeastern liberal territory mindset that we live in here in CT.

He said "long ago" AND "the middle of July" so who knows?

OF, I had to turn it off. Watching a Dem spin babe lying about the Right-Wing attack machine on O'Reilly. Waiting for Laura Bush to come on.

" There is a disgruntled CIA operative out there bashing the president and saying he doesn't know why this terror alert was raised."

If Kerry and Dean and the other Dems think this is all political-why aren't they demanding that the gov't disband the TSA and remove the x ray scanners and metal detectors at the airports ?
call off all the extra police protection at the targeted buildings?
stop checking trucks entering vulnerable areas, etc, etc ??

That would be consistent with Kerry's position on terrorism.
Kerry constantly pleads with the terrorists to hear his message that certain areas,
which he specifically names,
are still vulnerable to attack.
He basically gives Al Queda the Lat/Lon of the soft areas.
The fact that Kerry gets national security briefings makes me very uneasy.
I would not feel that way about Joe Lieberman or Dick Gephardt.
Kerry is like a police chief announcing to pedophiles which elementary schools don't have guards or fences and what time the kids get out.
And then complaining that the city isn't doing enough to catch the pedophiles.

If anyone actually watched HardBall, this might hurt Kerry...

After the facade of normality that was put on at the Rat convention, the moonbats are howling and banging the bars on their cages, so Kerry and Schrum have Howie Dean out there feeding them another helping of raw bloody meat. Problem is, these two dopes don't have a clue that Dean goes too far - they're still completely inside the Beltway echo chamber, hearing about how 80 percent of the country wants to see George Bush flayed alive. So look for Kerry's flunkies to once again fan out on all the cable shows in a day or two (once the focus group data is compiled) to barely stifle their grins while offering lame denunciations of Dean's statements that really aren't denunciations.

Howard Dean blew up his own campaign with his rantings when he had a big lead. If you were Kerry, would you want him on your side?

Kerry probably doesn't want Dean on his side, but he's stuck with Dean whether he likes it or not. Kerry's just barely hanging on to the lunatic left, which is of course the base of the party any more. And the only reason he's got even a tenuous grip on them is because of psychos like Al Gore and Howard Dean. If Kerry tells Dean to take a hike, the moonbats will walk right along with Dr. Demento, and Kerry will be toast.

"Wow! How can he back up half of what he is saying?"

He dosen't have to back it up. just the fact that it went out over the air makes it so for many.
