Economic populism is the only weapon the Democrats have to negate the "values" issues. And they are not using it.
Then again, Kerry is pure bicoastal elite manners and mores, uncomfortable around the lower orders.
I've been saying for over a year that bellyaching about how badly Saddam Hussein is being treated is not a winning strategy for the dummycrats. If I was a dummycrat - which I'm not - I'd be beating the drum about the apparently doomed middle class. They can't do it though, because they get their milk money from the same one-world corporate types that own the Republicans, just like the author of this piece is slowly learning.
