It's un-American because it's played in Europe and Asia and everywhere else AND Americans are not competitive internationally. If we can't dominate the sport, it's un-American.

What country invented soccer? It wasn't the USA --- which means it's not an American sport. It can never be like football or baseball which are very American because we created those. It's a foreign sport and some think it's chic to emulate foreigners.
