[snip]In one of his multiple references to his four-month tour in Vietnam, he declared that "our band of brothers" still knows "how to fight for our country." But he neglected to repeat his 1971 photo-op testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in which he issued a blanket indictment against that same "band of brothers," charging them with "war crimes committed in Southeast Asia not isolated incidents but [war] crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with full awareness of officers at all levels of command."
After spending two decades voting to decimate America's armed forces, Mr. Kerry audaciously asserted, "I will build a strong military." In promising to "fight a smarter, more effective war on terror," he pledged to "deploy every tool in our arsenal." But that arsenal would be far less formidable if his national-security votes had prevailed.
Mr. Kerry said, "You don't value families if you force them to take up a collection to buy body armor for a son or daughter in the service." But he failed to explain why he voted in October 2002 to authorize war against Iraq and then voted one year later against an $87 billion funding bill that would have financed military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, including providing body armor for the troops. The guess here is that many of the likely voters contacted by Gallup correctly understood that Mr. Kerry had utterly and unconscionably politicized his October 2003 vote against the $87 billion funding measure. Compared to Mr. McGovern, whose level of support in the Gallup Poll following the 1972 convention did not change, Mr. Kerry actually suffered a decline of 1 percentage point. It could have been worse had Mr. Kerry told viewers that he actively campaigned for Mr. McGovern in 1972.

Kerry goes around talking on the stump about his 4-month Vietnam "experience" yet he won't mention a word about his 19-year Senate "experience".
Kerry is a Trojan Horse for the gray ponytailed Commies.
They know he can be easily turned against the War on Terrorism after he is elected, just like he bailed on Vietnam by helping to undermine support in America.
War hero, or whore weirdo?
You decide.
bttt
What's the difference between Kerry.s four months in Vietnam (You knew he was there, right?) and his 19 years in the Senate?
When he was in Vietnam, (Becasue he was, you know) Kerry at least actually did something.
Maybe all those on stage with him should each be asked if they committed atrocities.
Kerry has taken more vacation running for office then any one in office.
STRONG MILITARY KERRY
ENVIRO-KERRY
LAW 'N ORDER KERRY
I'M-FOR-THE-LITTLE-GUY KERRY
TECHNO-KERRY
and finally, most desperately...
TAX CHOPPIN' KERRY
GW can just run this elitist a'hole into the ground. He has never done a days work in his life.
He'll become so tired he will be taking even worse gibberish before long.
hanoi john LOVES our military so much he voted against the funding for their kevlar vest, and $1.3 B in health care for Veterans...all in a snit because he couldn't have a tax hike.
It's a "Lawn Dart Bounce."
During which time he was preoccupied making home movies and causing self-inflicted injuries ................
I remember hearing something about that. He committed atrocities like, every day, didn't he? I think that's what I heard. And for like, every three weeks or so they gave him a medal, or something like that.
Then when he'd committed enough atrocities, I guess he got to go home.
And then he got to get his picture taken with a bunch of celebrities and politicians when he told them about all the atrocities he committed. And they treated him like a hero for it.
What else has he done? How's he gonna fight the war on terror better than Bush?
Oh yeah, I forgot. Atrocities. Yeah, that should work...
I watched a DemocRAT on CNN last night, Bill Snider the pollster guy.
He seemed to be hoping that there would be a terrorist attack soon, which he said would help Bush at first, but after a sort time the public might blame Bush for the attack. Thus helping Kerry to win the election.
These are the desperate scenarios that DemocRATs are reaching for, now that they have evidenced the debacle in Boston which has resulted in Kerry losing ground. The first candidate to do so since McGovern in '72. Nixon won the largest vote percentage ever that year, and the only state that went DemocRAT in the presidential election was Massachusetts. LOL
It isn't over until the fat lady sings, but the RATS are starting to smell water seeping into their ship, and Gore and Her Hindass Hillary Rodham Clinton are going to start scooping water into the boat, rather than out of it.
