The Iraqi govt. is trying to fight them also, and I beleive that a vast majority of the Iraqi people are also getting mad at the islamofascists.
"Uh it ain't the Iraqi govt. blowing up the churches, it is the islamofascists. "
Well does it matter who is blowing people up-if these Christians don't feel protected, they have every right to blame it on the interim govt(&by that sense the US coalition). It's easy for us folks to sit her commenting from the safety of our houses. We have to be in their shoes to understand their trauma.
Let's face the blunt fact that age old ethnico-religious schisms(which Saddam cleverly & brutally kept suppressed) have been opened again & it will take some real doing( & as weve seen lots of blood) before it's controlled again-the Saudis,Iranians Syrians &Turks(both with interests on the activities of the Kurds) have tremendous influence amnong the various groups in Iraq-it cannot be wished away with mere diplomatic pressure.
