I mean, not even splurging for a five dollar hot dog? And the guy's a billionaire???
Wait a sec, maybe I'm thinking of Ron Perlman.
Or Ron Pearlstein???
Man, people have confusing names sometimes.
It's also called "group-think." Jesus Christ and numerous others warn against it.
Yes, it took all of four years for him to be vindicated (assuming he is - astrophysics is slightly beyond my comprehension!). A huge amount of time in science!
Lemming think.
Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga.
a couple of moldy old topics.

Excellent. Hats off to Hawking as well, for having the integrity to admit that he was mistaken.
More or less a repeat of the Galileo case. He was sunk not by the Church but by the Aristotleans. They never changed their minds, either. They just died, to be replaced by men open to new ideas.
bump for later
But it's well known that black holes can have magnetic fields. IIRC, there've even been some recent proposals which use the black hole's magnetic field to explain how energy can be transferred from the black hole to its accretion disk.
I wonder which is more preposterous, Mitra on black holes or Pat Boone on evolution?
Found it, thanks..

Sorry, I meant to hunt it down for ya.
sokay I gotallday!
pseudoscientists need love too..
I trust you got an answer for your query ... the intense magnetic field surrounding massive collapse objects refutes a ‘blackness’ status for Stephen’s objects.
If the collapse object is source for the energy sustaining the intense magnetic field, then the object isn’t ‘black’ in Stephen’s sense of using that term.
