MILWAUKEE ) - Teresa Heinz Kerry, the outspoken wife of Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry, pulled no punches on Monday in telling a rally what she thought of the Bush administration -- hell.
And later, discussing the war in Iraq, Heinz Kerry subtly questioned Republican President Bush's intellect, saying: "It's vital for anyone with intelligence to acknowledge mistakes and change positions -- hello."
When a Bush supporter with a bullhorn shouted "four more years" from the back of a large crowd packed into a downtown Milwaukee park, Heinz Kerry, who was introducing her husband, responded: "They want four more years of hell."
"Three more months!," she declared, referring to the Nov. 2 presidential election.
Last week at the Democratic Convention in Boston, where Kerry formally accepted his party's nomination as Bush's opponent, Heinz Kerry briefly caused a stir when she told a reporter to "shove it."
"She speaks her mind and she speaks the truth and she's pretty quick on her feet too," the Massachusetts senator said when he took the microphone in Milwaukee.
"That's why America is going to embrace her and she'll make a spectacular first lady of the United States of America."
Cheech and Chong? Only not so funny?
Tonya Harding. With a wallet full of charge cards. :)
Agreed. She's now a liability, and it's one which is growing. Can't wait for her next "word of wisdom."
The debates...sKerry will disappear into the night after that.
Yes, I have some photos. I'n still a little green when it comes to posting them, but I'll try to get some posted later today.
She has learned to love the attention of her loyal subjects. Bet she's already redecorating the White House in her imagination. Perhaps the Queer Eye girlie men will help.
What "clip" was played on FOX?
Bill Bennett just reported this morning that the Kerrys accompanied the Edwards into Wendy's for their annual anniversasry meal. Teresa asked what the picture of chili was. Her husband explained--she had no idea what it was and ordered her a bowl of chili and a frosty. Then the Kerry's and his staff left and ate their pre-ordered lunches of shrimp and divers scallops, etc. at another location. Bennett said it well: they just gave the picture of the two Americas Edwards talks about.
But he's really not so much a wimp for his wife as he is for her money.
You're right and it's so obvious. He literally rolls over for her. Is this what liberals believe makes a good marriage? She will continue to wear the pants in that family and will take her act right into the White House if elected. God help us all.
If Kerry would win, guess who gets to stay at the undisclosed location?
I look at her differently. I think her marriage with Heinz was a loving one and she really did share his views. I don't think she has recovered from his death and thought by marrying another senator, she was somehow going to replicate her last marriage. It's not working (she's not in that kind of a harmonious marriage), so she is compensating by trying to change herself into something that Kerry will love like Heinz did. It's pitiful really. Once she fully realizes that he is just using her, she will really not have anything left. For all her strangeness, she really is a loving and dedicated wife. She really was jumping in and trying to protect him against the heckler (who WAS being rude). She just didn't know how to handle the situation with dignity. I think she has some very difficult days ahead.
George Pataki makes me want to vomit! Ugh, what a RINO.
Laura has way too much class to be hanging out with trash like that!
That's a great story!
That's one of the best analyses I've read yet about Kerry--and his wife. Excellent!
