We should assume they have similar plans for NYC underwater tunnels, e.g. - The Holland Tunnel. The blind sheik who perpetrated the first WTC bombing had that tunnel on his hit list and we know they return to targets.

MIHAMA, Japan (AP) - A nonradioactive steam leak killed four people and injured seven Monday in the worst-ever accident at a Japanese nuclear power plant, officials said. Two workers were reported in critical condition.
No radiation leaked during the incident, and there was no need to evacuate the area around the city of Mihama, about 200 miles west of Tokyo, officials said. Mihama's population is about 11,500.
The four dead suffered severe burns, said Takanori Amimoto, at the nearby Fukui state government office. Two workers had critical injuries, while three were in serious condition and two had minor injuries, a police official said on condition of anonymity.
Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi promised a thorough investigation of the accident, which follows a string of safety problems and attempted cover-ups at Japan's nuclear power plants, the source of 30 percent of Japan's electricity.
Good point. And like callmeoe always says "the water, the water, the water".
You mentioned recently about sharing personal experiences/observations. Here's one: I bumped into an old acquaintance the other day. He is a very big donor to the Dims. Also a longtime friend of Kerry and Ter-ray-zuh. After our usual kidding around and listening to him rant about the current administration - all the while with a big smile on his face - I said, "So do you think these terrorist warnings are all a political ploy on the part of the Bush administration?" His reaction was most interesting. The smile immediately left his face, replaced by a very serious look. He lowered his voice and said (paraphrasing) "Absolutely not. It's a real concern." I pushed more with some nuke questions - with a tone of voice that implied I was skeptical. He avoid the question. His response: "Of course the same briefings go to both candidates - he (Kerry) gets the briefings but he is not saying a word." This guy has spent a lot of time with those folks over the past 10 years. The change of expression on his face really said a lot to me.
Goodness, that would be horrific!
