I understand that it comes from a 3 Hebrew letter word consisting of aleph lamed hay. curse, aleph lamed hay, pronounced and spelled in English as allah. Any basis to this. Regardless of whether you ascribe to his theory of certain catastrophic events he maintains took place at the time of the Exodus, both books will provide you with an incredible source with which to understand the belief systems of the middle east and how they arose. It's all there. Babylonian atronomy/astrology, ancient arab lore; the worship of stones (aerolites) etc.
