Ever hear of Barbara Richmond? She released a book on Jewish insights into the New Testament, written by rabbis in Jerusalem who secretly believe in the Messiah. I can't find it right now, I think it's out of print.

Yes I have. Unfortunately, much of that book was later debunked, although there are some very good nuggets in it. Barbara Richmond has also publicly renounced Y'shua.
If you like that kind of stuff however, let me encourage you to check out www.TorahResource.org. Tim Hegg is a notable Jewish Historian and author. There are a LOT of English articles on that site for free. Hegg has also authored a number of books. The most notable are
Letter Writer which is a very scholarly look at the Judaism of Paul; and
Fellowheirs which is a new work on the historical nature of the "split" between the Jewish sect called "the Way" (i.e. followers of Y'shua) and rabbinic Judaism.
I might also suggest the 3-part "Matthew" series at
www.bereansonline.org/studies.htm. Although designed as "Bible studies" they contain many historical insights into the "Hebraisms" of the book of Matthew. They workbooks are in pdf format, and they are free, as are the audio lessons.
