OH I see first What I said was I did not think I could be Jewish because I thought it was a garbage religion but because I as a hopeless Sinner would not be able to follow the rules. Meaning it is a religion that has many rules to adhere to like 613 I think and I do not follow one religion but take the good out of many religions....

In poor taste... take that up with them and tell them you think their website is in poor taste not me.

Uh, cyborg, you were the one who posted that link to "anotherview". You know, the Jewish freeper whose father was sent to Auschwitz? "Hey, this Jew's father was in a concentration camp. I know, I'll post him a link about a Jewish holocaust survivor who converted to Christianity!" Yeah, that was classy.

I, and several others, have explained to you that Judaism is not a proselytizing religion. That means that we don't proselytize. That means that we don't look at meetings with the disadvantaged as a recruiting opportunity.

In any case, I am not going to be sucked back into the vortex. It is impossible to have theological discussions with you because of your agenda.

Spare me your outrage. If anotherview has any issue with me posting that link then let him FREEPMAIL me personally and tell me so. Otherwise, I'm through talking to you.

I think the Israel/Palestinian conflict is a tragedy on both sides, and I do not believe Israel is blameless. I have done extensive study on the subject, and regardless of whether or not it is said in the bible, people living in the area are not exactly pleased to be pushed off their land. I understand their anger in human terms, it doesn't come out of thin air.
Extremists on both sides are to blame, while the majority of Jews and Palestinians live by the whims of freaks and terrorists, but desire only peace. And yes, when every family has been touched by death because of the conflict and live in dire poverty, they tend to not be as friendly and civilized as those who judge them.
Compassion is the way to deal with this, as Christ would have. The law of hate and revenge only keeps the cycle going, and I am not hoping that it continues so that Armaghedden will come. It breaks my heart when a Palestinian or Jewish mother grieves the loss of their child. It does absolutely no good to "take sides" and make one side "rightous" and the other not. It only fans the flames and brings more terrorism and retribution. Is that what we want, so that we can be thought of as right? You can argue point by point, but the truth is right smack in the middle, and without having the humility to admit your part, no resolution will be forthcoming.
As to your comment of the return of Jews to Israel as being proof of rightousness, I disagree. The bible says that up until the time of Christ's return, the people of Israel will NOT be rightous.

Lastly, I do not believe one is made proseperous and powerful because of faith. Many empires without faith have prospered. It is called "might makes right" and history has shown that is wrong.

NO I asked you that question with all sincerity, I was very curious how in the religion of Judiasm they are to reach people that do not know GOD? if I knew that question I wouldn't of asked you. I was not implying that you needed to go on a recruting campaign, I just wanted to know how in Judiasm you would reach the lost people who do not know of GOD Almighty or were practicing PAGANS..

Not one Jewish person on this thread has told me how they would reach a person that did not know GOD so I thought I would take a chance in asking you...that's all

Spare me your outrage.

First I'm "baiting you", now I'm "outraged"? No to the first, and no to the second. I'm not "outraged". I'm expressing my opinion that posting that link to that person was tactless. It really shouldn't be hard for you to understand why I would think so.

Moral equivocation. Do you also see no distinction between the United States and al Qaeda?

I live by the New testament, and it says Israel will be living in sin until Christ returns. My point about Christianity was that Christian nations basically established Israel and has given tons of aid to insure its survival. This was in the context of a discussion regarding how I think Israel is unappreciative in light of their outlawing Messianic Jews from converting Jews to Christianity.

So while God may have used Christians to help Jews, one can also say God used Christians to punish them in the past, yet that, being negative, is controversial. I don't think I believe either. It is also said God used Hitler to punish the Jews, and I find that highly offensive and utter bull.

We are indeed living in Messianic times.

Wanna guess who I think is the lion and who is the lamb?

Exactly how large is your Tim Lahaye library you genius. You are a pitiful soul with your ignorance of history. I hope you plan on actually contributing something of substance on this forum.

I am asking you both this question so I may understand your religion of practice a bit better is there something wrong with that?

So again I would like to propose this question

If you knew 2 people that did not practice any faith yet you find out one is of Jewish background and the other is gentile with no understanding of Christianity.

How do you introduce them to GOD? if you don't and they die in vain do you bear any responsibility?

So you don't feel it is arrogant to declare that those Jews who believe the Messiah has already come are no longer Jewish?

I know of many observant Jews who also believe that Jesus is the Messiah. They are no less Jewish because of that belief.
