When I feel like I am slipping in my self esteem I just think about MurryMom and the contortions that she (or what ever) went through to justify the Toon and his minions. Geeze, what people will justify.

Oh yeah, what people will say to justify their personal misdeeds or the misdeeds of those they would coddle and prop up.
Like the serial adulterer in a church who gets patted on the back by the entire church congregational hierarchy and told that everything is in the past and forgiven.
(Seen firsthand at a certain place.)

Personal theory is that people do that to cover up their own behavior.
Taken to it's logical extent, the Dems and the pet troll MM make the excuses they do because they know they're wrong but don't want to ever be held accountable for it or ever be made to feel any guilt for it.

Talk about a psychological mess!
