I'm probably doing a bad job of articulating it but to be "fooled" not for it's own sake but as part of revealing a deeper message or more absolute truth is something I enjoy.

You might enjoy the film Jacob's Ladder. It's a bit harder-edged and grittier than M. Night movies (especially in the uncut DVD version - I saw the cut version on TV first.) But if you like weird philosophical twists, it's an interesting film.

But you are exactly right, Jacob's Ladder has alot in common with The Sixth Sense.
