This may be mean, but I once told a snotty kid in a restaurant that if he didn't sit down and shut up, I was going to go beat his father up.

It worked.

I don't know if spanking is needed for these kids --- but if you have a small child who cannot behave in public, you should not bring the child to public places. It's a matter of considerateness ---- some children should stay home with a babysitter but the parents tend to think brattiness is cute.

That's pretty funny. I took my friend and her two kids out for ice cream. While we were sitting their chatting, her 6 year old son suddenly looked at me and as spitefully as he could, said to me, "you're mean." I wasn't saying anything particularly mean at the time so was taken aback. My friend looks at her son and says something to the effect of "why did you say that?" She never corrected him in any manner. I was so offended that later that evening I phoned her and told her what I thought and she said "oh, I guess I'm just so used to it" and I pointed out to her that since I'm her friend and an adult, she should have corrected his behavior right on the spot. Rudeness should be corrected in children. What can I say? The parents are responsible.

Did you ever have fantasies about what to do with kids who kick the back of your airline seat for the whole trip?

I had an incident at a Wal-Mart some time ago. As I was entering a man stood near the door holding his son. The son looked right at me and spit. The guy laughed with the brat and told me some inane thing about boys will be boys.
I asked him to set the kid down. I then punched dad right in the nose. I told the kid he was lucky he wasn’t older.
At the time I had waist length hair and my beard was nearly to my belt. I was carrying my helmet and the Harley was parked in plain sight. My arms are pretty well covered with tattoos. I guess dad had never watched a Grade B Biker movie.
