And once again Paul is so way off the mark...the polls after the speech in fact show negative results...What I thought was most telling was the failure of the baloons..didn't that happen to Carter as well? Maybe that's an omen
I don't agree with our good friend Paul Weyrich's impressions of John F*ckin.' The speech stank to high heaven and the candidate is an arrogant jerk when he isn't a colossal (which is most of the time) bore. He combines the worst qualities of Jimmy Carter and Al Gore in a single person. Someone who could be viewed as presidential? Hardly - and if the post-convention polls are to believed, the American people don't think he's meant to be in the White House.
