Nowhere in this story does it say that Bush supports getting rid of the income tax. Drudge is really scraping this time. This is a truly stupid post by DRUDGE. Hastert can wish all he wants, it doesn't mean a damn thing. To say this is a "centerpiece of the Bush/GOP agenda" is idiotic.

Drudge had this up during the Democratic primaries.
It was a headline that Bush was going to do a tax overhaul in this second term.
