On the subject of Laura Bush, Chris Wallace said on FNS today that Laura won the Family Circle Cookie Bake Off Contest. The website that carried the contest says the winner will be announced in Nov. Anyone else catch Wallace's comments? Oh yeah, THK's recipe was awful, so she said one of her staff sent it it.

Buried in that story: at first, THK sent in something called *Yummie Wonders*; the recipe didn't work when tested and Family Circle called to request an alternate. That's when the pumpkin recipe was sent out.
