Thanks for the 411 from Alexis' Diner. Please post any tidbits you glean from Nikola's for us mere mortals who are in awe and reverence of John Kerry.
Nikola's should have given him those upscale lunches at a reduced rate because he is, after all, a decorated war hero.

'The meals came to about $200, MidHudson News said.'
That would be the 'Wendy's meals, right?
The Nikola's meals - nineteen of them - to come to 'about $200 would mean that the rest of the tab was written off. . . funny, how this one little detail has escaped - or appears to have - the 'light of truth' here. 4

Well, the 'devil is in the details' for Kerry; hope the truth of the Wendy's get out; perhaps by way of O'Reilly or Hannity. Rush could easily have a go on this; maybe already has. . .don't know.
Anyone notice how Edward's wife is forever at the ready for Kerry; a pat on the back; helping him with his jacket - etc? Saw her do the 'back pat' in Wendys' even. . .
Camera's make people behave. . .differently.

I sincerely wonder how
shrimp vindallo tastes dipped into Teresa's bloody red Heintz ketchup.
I'll bet $100 that no one will ever know.
LOL.

You can't have BREAKFAST at Cracker Barrel for $10, beverage, tax and tip included.I wouldn't pay $10 for another meal at Cracker Barrel. Their food used to be decent but the last two or three times I've been there it tasted like cardboard. I won't make that mistake again.

the 19 gourmets were for the ELITE!!And what is this world coming to when Ben Affleck is included in that bunch? Kerry's whole campaign is turning into something from the Twilight Zone.

This URL claims that meals range from $16.00 to $20.00.
Nikola's That would be a price range from $304-$380 -- for which they paid $200?? That doesn't seem right to me.
To: MrsEmmaPeel
You're right. Unless they had a steep discount, it would be more like $380 plus 10% gratuity. Then again they'd get special treatment cause they're probably regular customers.

Agreed - their breakfasts are more institutional and bland than anything I've ever eaten.
My daughter was home visiting over the weekend, and wanted to go there. She had breakfast - I had the beans and greens for $3.99. Yummy good!

CIA = Culinary Institute of America. A chef school. My cousin is a grad. He works at the Country Club in Arkansas to which Bill Clinton belongs.

Hi, I just joined the group. My dad (close friend of Mike Dederick) was the one who broke this story to the midhuson news, where it then traveled around the world. I've noticed a lot have you have been remarking that $200 was cheap and that they might have gotten a discount, I asked Mike, the answer is yes. I didn't ask how much, but for 19 lunches $200 is a great price, better than the discount the Yatch Club Members that he rents his restaurant from would get.
