"More evidence that the Democratic party is nearing an historical, defining split, as has occurred every 30 years or so. Today, you have the Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy liberals and the Zell Miller, Randy Kelly, etc. moderates. The moderates have always pulled ahead in the past, leaving the liberals in the dust."

"If this was Atari, the screen would be nearing "game over" for the liberals."

This is why they are acting like wounded and dangerous predators at the national level to the jerks who live on our streets. They are attacking GW 24/7 and any of us, the known enemies, the out in the open brokend glass Republicans.

I think that we have a real opportunity with that small percent of democrats who are not the fanatics to get them to vote for our side or just stay home for the election. We saw these people stay home out here in California when we outed Davis. They couldn't bring themselves to vote for Arnold, nor would they vote for Davis, so they stayed home. Many admitted before the election, they couldn't stand Davis, and that they just stayed home and didn't vote.

These same people don't like Kerry. Many who are our age either served in Nam or had siblings or good friends who did. They know what Kerry did to their family members in Nam or who had served in Nam after Kerry returned. They despise Kerry for what he did after he returned and now bragging about his Nam service.

If 2 to 5% of these democrats either stay home on election day or vote for GW, Kerry's ship will be sunk.

Oh they're desperate alright. Check this out:

Rep. Kahn accused of taking GOP fliers
Dane Smith, Star Tribune
July 23, 2004 KAHN0723
State Rep. Phyllis Kahn, a 32-year veteran from Minneapolis and a key figure in the DFL House caucus, was stopped by New Hope police earlier this week after a citizen complained that she was removing a Republican House member's campaign literature from doorsteps and replacing it with a DFL opponent's material.

The case has been referred to the Anoka County attorney's office for possible charges, officials said.
