U.S. Senator Norm Coleman, the Bush-Cheney campaign's other co-chair in Minnesota, called Kelly's announcement "bipartisanship at its finest."

Ditto.

But the St. Paul DFL Party said Kelly "has traded the values of St. Paul for the agenda of the Republican Party's far right."

Yeah because Tim Pawlenty and Norm Coleman sure represent the far right.

I think we're getting more Zell Miller dems on our side. And, I hope the tide continues in our favor as more dems begin to see the light.

It took real courage for this Democrat Mayor to put his support behind President Bush. God bless him.

Outstanding!

Norm Coleman (Kelly's predecessor as mayor) and Kelly have done a great job of turning St Paul around.

The St Paul Democrats are gonna flip out when they read this. But they flipped out when Coleman switched parties back in 2000 and he was still re-elected mayor in 2001.

Let's see we now have major Dems for Bush from NYC, Georgia, Minnesota. That covers the NE, South and Midwest. Are there any in the West?

An honest man, by gad. How many more democrats will join him when it becomes clear Bush will win in a landslide? More than a few, I suspect.

I'm sure this mayor probably said on Sept 12, 2001 that he was glad that Algore was not elected, as many Democrats stated.

There was a buzz that he might switch parties, but, alas...

I do believe that when the dust settles Minnesota will go for the President.

Principles over politics... I can almost imagine how this is gonna enrage some of my coat tail relatives, activist Democrats who live St. Paul.

I keep hearing Mort Kondrake and other democrats claim that a lot of Republicans support Kerry.

I've heard of several well-known democrats endorsing Bush, yet NO famous republicans for Kerry.

If anyone hear has heard of well-known republicans for Kerry, please post here. THanks.

Some folks are smart enough to join Democratic (former NYC mayor) Ed Koch on the bandwagon!
