"Nigerien officials admitted that the Iraqi delegation had traveled there in 1999 and that the Nigerien prime minister believed the Iraqis were interested in purchasing uranium," the Senate report said.

Yeah. In 1999... Nigerien [PM] believed...

More WMD hogwash from the Senate. They should be embarassed at this entire mess.

Time to move on. Wilson is discredited, Kerry has tacitly repudiated his Wilson connection. And we're not putting Saddam back in power no matter who said what to whom when.

But none of that is going to make any WMD magically appear.

But none of that is going to make any WMD magically appear.

Bush made an appearance at Oak Ridge where he stood next to tons of enrichable Uranium taken from Libya as a consequence of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The media did not mention the U-235 and passed of the appearance as a desparate appeal for voters in a swing state.

So it seems that the media can make WMD magically disappear if they so choose.
