Libya's disarmament, while desirable, doesn't exactly justify the invasion of Iraq and all that led up to it. Whether the media covers it or not.

Libya's nuke program was being run by Iraqi nuke scientists and was multi-national involving Iraq Iran North Korea..., with financial and materiel help from Pakistan Saudi Arabia and China. It should come out before the election. John Loftus says that the Uranium that Libya ceded matches a small quantity given up by Sadam earlier to the UN.

You'll have to pardon me if I'd rather wait and see what evidence they produce for such assertions. After the way the whole WMD thing fell through initially, I'm pretty cynical.

Hey, not like anyone really cares or is going to vote on the issue anyway. You see a lot of ranting about it on political sites (both Right and Left) but I don't think anyone will actually vote on it. It's a referendum on Bush. People say a lot of crap about WMD and right-wing takeovers and other stuff but it just masks that they hate Bush and wouldn't vote for him anyway.

I don't see any swing voters actually voting on this as a single-issue voter. But then, I finally did meet the first person ever who said they were voting for Kerry because he chose Edwards as VP, flouting the conventional wisdom that no one ever votes for VP.

Mostly, I'd just like to see all this supposed WMD evidence in one big pile with an explanation of exactly what it is, where it came from and undeniable proof that it was intended for a WMD attack on the West. But I don't think we're ever going to get that. Mostly, because they'd have to admit how much of what they told us was hogwash.
