Were you watching in the 50s? I seem to remember a woman (for the Bombers?) named Tuffy...ring a bell?

I didn't really start following Roller Derby and Roller Games (two separate organizations) until the late 60s. I remember seeing the legendary Joannie Weston skate for the San Fracisco Bay Bombers. I think Bill Groh (I may have the spelling wrong) skated for the men's team. Ronnie Robinson, the son of boxer Sugar Ray Robinson, skated for either the Jolters or the Midwest Pioneers.
