Ugh, good point! Well, then, let's hope he told his mother, unless she's a doctor too!Actually, I always thought that the doctor-patient relationship could be violated if the person wants to do himself or another bodily harm, or has already done so.
Also, the doctor has to be in a patient/doctor relationship with you. If you go tell some random doctor you meet on the street something, it is admissible. Therefore, telling his Doctor Mom would be admissible.

Yes, but you know a Geragos-style lawyer can twist that into "any" doctor at all, perhaps, who knows, even a PHD! Following the Peterson trial can make a person think that up is down and down is up and the sky is pea-green with purple polkadots.
