Looking at the luncheon menu I am pretty amazed that the per person cost was only about $10. Doesn't sound right to me.
As incredible as $10 gourmet lunch sounds, I'm sure the real price is equally incredible. I think there's a missing operative word:
"The meals came to about $200 each."
$200 each doesn't sound right to me. Perhaps the owners of the restaurant were Dems and simply gave them a discount.
