When you buy products (produced legally of course) based not on quality but on political considerations that is as socialist as one can get.

Bull SH*T!!!

Freedom is buying from anyone or no one for any reson or no reason. Anything else just makes you an aggressors prey. Socialism is about the state making all choices for their idea of the collective good, and the individual having no choice. You don't even know that socialism is.

Let me prove your ignorance of what you espouus using your own logic.

You would buy the better goods at a better price, from an evil seller even if that seller were going to use the money earned from your purchases to kill you and all your family.

What do you care if they used your own money to kill you.. After all you got a good price.

An examination of your logic just shows your inablitiy to think clearly.

Well, I didn't want him to feel all left out of the festivities--because when I think East Coast Upper Class Sailor Old Money Teeth-Clenched-While-Speaking Yacht Guys, I think....well, I don't think of Teddy, but I still don't want him to feel all left out of the festivities.

Not evil - from fellow Americans who belong to another party. The Democrats are worng minded but they are not evil - I don't understand the mindset that says I will never go to an Affleck movie because he supports Kerry. Maybe the problem is mine but I don't get how it is right to base movie going decisions based on the political affiliations of the actor, etc. Paul Newman makes a mean dressing - Newman is a leftists and I disagree with his politics - but Paul Newman is not an evil person and he has given millions to charity.

Should I place myself in isolation from Newman because h e is not a Republican and therefore "haarem" (to use the Muslim word for forbidden-bad)?

So I leave it up to you - sure it is the persons right to base purchasing decisions on any criterai they want - but is it the correct way to think?
