Gramsci... this is classic Gramsci... that is the educated socialist role model on how to enact plans for new structural designs through out society... they almost won, and then Reagan came around :)

This is why they want this election to be the ANTI-1980.
Bush is Ronald Reagan in their eyes and Kerry is a new and improved jimmy carter.
Democrats are trying to undo the victory of the cold war.

99% of all leftists have never heard of Gramsci. I learned of him from conservatives. I have never read a mainstream article that as much as mentions his name. Yet, I remember very well that from 1972 onward, the meme was to *work within the system*, meaning get an advanced degree and thereby influence society.
I have been telling folks about him and hoping they would check him out online, but I am not too optimistic that they will.
I think you have to be 60 or older to recall America as she was. It is sobering and frightening to realize that the left
enacted a major tactic without anyone even questioning the source, let alone the results. Too many people think this is the way it always was: major divisions between groups/genders/generations; degraded culture; degraded education;controlled *news*.
Gramsci wrote the blueprint for our progressive nightmare and none of the enacters of it have a clue that he existed.
