Thanx for the link.
IMO, the implementation of Gramsci's ideas has had an effect. However, the left always forgets that people are individuals, that everything is process and that process is dynamic. No one can control everyone, all the time, to every extent.
What gives me hope is that, obviously, students have rebelled against the leftist inculcation in large numbers. No one can overcome the fact that humans are hardwired for individuality and personal liberty. The more draconian the left becomes in trying to control citizens, the more citizens turn them off and become angry at the attempt.
If they could have drugged everyone, then it might have succeeded. That is probably why it is the left that is so in favor of all drugs being legalized. Libertarians have bought this, without thinking it thru beyond *personal freedom*. Soros, Peter B Lewis and other wealthy and influential individuals are all out there using legal drugs as an organizing tool. One has to ask *why?*, since none of these people seem to support liberty, freedom or individuality in any other venue.
