A couple nights ago, I was watching the Red Sox game on TV and the Sox broadcasters, Jerry Remy and Sean McDonough had an anecdote about their experience with Carville at the recent Democratic Convention. McDonough said sarcastically that he couldn't understand how they failed to receive a social invitation from James Carville after meeting him. Remy laughed and agreed. Then Sean said they had met Carville while he was in town for the convention. He didn't elaborate but evidently Carville was very unpleasant to them. Sean and Jerry agreed that Carville had been "very pompous". Then when Carville found out he'd been talking to the broadcast voices of the Red Sox, he became a lot nicer.
What a surprise to learn that a Democrat big shot is a phony, huh?
