FREEP Best Damn Sports Show Ever
Best Damn Sports Show ^

I was going through the sports channels late last night to find the baseball scores when lo and behold I see Michael Moore's ugly face.
Moore was a guest on "Best Damn Sports Show Ever". I thought I was going to vomit. Every panel member on the show was fawning over and kissing the fat butt of Michael Moore.
Questions went like "Why are you the only filmmaker out there right now telling the truth?"
They went on and on about evil Republicans to the point where I just turned it off. Never did see who won the Phillies game (Brave fan here).
It all reminded me of a story about Michael Jordon. Back in 1990, when Harvey Gantt, a black Democrat in Jordan's home state of North Carolina, was in a tight Senate race with Jesse Helms, the right-wing conservative Republican who cut his political teeth as a race-baiting segregationist, Jordan refused to take sides. "Republicans buy shoes, too," he said. Well Republicans watch tv too but not this show.

We ate out last night and I saw he was on, although we couldn't hear it.
I told the bartender that I'd like to see Moore holding a dummy on the practice field. He thought that would be cool too.
You can leave voicemail for the show at 866-839-4328.

Isn't this an ESPN network program? We need to do the same thing to ESPN we did to Slim Fast re: the Whoopi Gooldberg thing. Start a boycott of sponsors; letters to sponsors etc. Hey We Can Do It!!!
Correct me if I have the wrong network.

I'm sorry this post hasn't received more attention, it's a good thing for us to bitch about. That's supposed to be a sports show, not a vehicle for pinko propaganda!
I couldn't believe they had that fat pig on there.
To: Slump Tester
Yea, that show made me angry the whole weekend. A good freep is really in order but.......

The fat, dumb ex-jocks on the BDSSP should stick to something they're good at...like scratching themselves and spitting.

Update from the show. I just received an email response:
Thank you for your e-mail. The thing that makes our country great is free thought, choice, the right to speak and the right NOT to listen. We knew when we booked Michael Moore that he would be a lighting rod of controversy. Does this mean the show is more left of center? Certainly not. Many of the people who work behind AND in front of the camera on our show proudly support the Republican Party and President George Bush. Does this mean we are apologists for Michael Moore? Again, absolutely not, but it just so happened that 3 of our guys on set were fans of Mr. Moore, even before he made "Fahrenheit 9/11."
We wished we had more time to talk to Mr. Moore. We wish we could have asked him what he is doing with the profits of his movie (is he donating to the 9/11 fund or pocketing the money?), why he doesn't blame the previous administration at all for the events leading up to one of the worst days in American history ... we had more to ask, but simply put - we ran out of time.
Again, thank you for your thoughts and e-mail. I hope you understand and remain a loyal viewer.
Regards,
The Best Damn Sports Show Period
Just makes me more mad. They spent the entire interview kissing this guy's butt and bending over for him that I guess they ran out of time to ask a serious question.

If it is such a good "sports" show, why didn't they discuss sports?
Why don't they get Johnny Ramone of the band the Ramones? He is a conservative Republican AND he loves baseball.
Just because the people on the set like Noam Chomsky-lite doesn't mean that it is good television.

Any fans of this show please reconsider giving them your time. You Betcha! I watch the show ocassionally because it is funny. I will be passing right by "all" the channels when it is on.
I'm surprised like you that these people don't take into account that Republicans...Conservatives even...watch TV and are consumers of the products they advertise/sell. And we are not a small group. JUST AMAZING!
