Okay, everybody is getting a real chuckle out of the Gere pet remark. I must have missed that story. I hate to sound dumb here, but what did Gere DO to his pet....or do I really want to know?

"what did Gere DO to his pet....or do I really want to know?" Think "Lower GI" with a hamster.....

Help was on the way. Very, very funny..........thanks for the ping! I shake my head at Edwards' "hope is on the way" and Kerry's "help is on the way" but this makes it all better. Go, hamsters!

I haven't watched a Richard Gere movie since that incident.
I get a little nauseated just looking at him.

`McEnroe, like Englehardt of the Courant, are both of the Seinfeld family of shallow, liberal, ironic, nihilists. Their only thought is for the moment. A constant milking of their 15 minutes of fame. They contribute nothing to the reservoir of common good or wisdom. Life is a masquerade, a never ending series of non-sequitors to them, and their followers love it. They do save me time and money since I canceled my subscription to the Courant and no longer listen to WTIC, except for Rush from 12:00 to 3:00.

He even looks like a Kerry in that second pic!
