As I was watching this interview, I kept thinking she is just as racist as she accuses Republicans of being. As far as she is concerned they are selfish idiots responsible for all the evil in the world. It's almost as if she's never met one.
Living where she does, I wouldn't be surprised.

Nah, it's just that Hannity spouts that very often on cue rather than try to come up with an original point.

I hope Hannity was better prepared than O'Reilly was with Michael Moore. . .

"As I was watching this interview, I kept thinking she is just as racist as she accuses Republicans of being."
Sean pointed out that it was a Republican administration that appointed Colin Powell and Condoliza Rice.
Her answer to that, "What does that have to do with anything...they're qualified for the positions." (paraphrased)
I took her point to mean that, if Republicans really wanted to prove they're not racists, they would appoint only those blacks who are not qualified for the position.
Of course, she also said that Kerry's admitted atrocities in Viet Nam were not as bad as the Abu Graib panty atrocity, and she blamed Pres. Bush for that!
To: Jenya
What does she do again? (Gorofollo)
I can't recall ever seeing her except during her butt-ugly attacks on Republicans.

I'm afraid so. And he debates... well, he doesn't.
The other day, someone said that 9/11 commission found no evidence of Iraq/Al Queda connection. Absolutely wrong!! But he just let it go as if it were true. I don't know, I get tired of the same ole lines to where they become cliches and don't mean as much. To me, it's just beyond the pale.

"I thought she actually defended herself pretty well, while Sean was focused on being a nice guy, instead of getting to any real issues."
Only saw a moment or two on preview but that was my assessment as well, just from that short overview.
Was thinking 'another wasted opportunnity'.
First O'Reilly, with Michael Moore and now Sean squandering this interview. . .
Is is lack of preparation or are these two just too easily intimidated. . .

Her bio.

Biography for
Janeane Garofalo
Height
5' 1" (1.55 m)
Mini biography
Janeane, the petite woman with the acerbic wit, was born in Newton, New Jersey, in 1964, and had many jobs before breaking into show biz. She worked as a bike messenger, a shoe salesperson (no doubt with Al Bundy's disposition), waitress and temp secretary. Watching David Letterman on TV inspired her to write comedy, and by 1985 she was doing standup comedy. As such, Janeane has become a cult figure, giving a voice to a generation, venting her frustration at TV, dating, relationships, life in general and anything that ticks her off in particular. Janeane did sketches on the Ben Stiller show in 1992 (an Emmy winning, but canceled show). She would continue to collaborate with Ben Stiller in future projects. Janeane received 2 Emmy nominations for her work on the Larry Sanders show (1992), developing her signature character: a smart, cynical woman with a razor wit. She was not happy with her Saturday Night Live (1994) stint, and was vocal about it (of course). Transferring her persona from TV to the big screen, she moved on to movies, basically playing the character she had defined for herself. In "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" (1997) she portrayed a smart, cynical, successful businesswomen with a razor wit, and this time with swear words (in the movie she had developed a brand of cigarettes with fast-burning paper, for the gal on the go; in real life it is alleged she smokes Marlboros). Janeane continues to work in TV and movies, often collaborating with Ben Stiller in a number of movies like "Mystery Men" (1999), his easygoing style being a counterpoint to her caustic nature. Fans love Janeane.
Spouse
Rob Cohen (16 August 1991 - present)
Trivia
She is a vegetarian.
Was offered the role of Gale Weathers in the movie Scream (1996), but turned it down to do the movie Sweethearts (1996). Courteney Cox then got the role and Scream (1996) which went on to gross more than $100 million, whereas Sweethearts (1996) went straight to video.
She has 7 tattoos.
Her production company is: I Hate Myself Productions.
Attended Madison High School in Madison, New Jersey.
Wrote a book with Ben Stiller: Feel This Book : An Essential Guide to Self-Empowerment, Spiritual Supremacy, and Sexual Satisfaction (1999).
Has a tattoo on her arm which reads "think".
Attended Providence College.
Garofalo, barely five feet tall, sometimes had to stand on a box just to be in the same frame with 6-foot co-star Uma Thurman in Truth About Cats & Dogs, The (1996).
Briefly lived in Minnesota at the beginning of her stand-up career
Is of Italian and Irish descent.
Admitted in 2003 interviews that she had overcome a sobriety problem with alcohol.
Married boyfriend Rob Cohen in 1992 at a Las Vegas drive-in chapel as a joke. They had gone to Vegas with the rest of the cast of "Ben Stiller Show, The" (1990) and decided to get married along with some of the other crew members. After their relationship ended they never officially got divorced.
In March 2003, she made an appearance on CNN's Cross Fire to discuss the international situation involving Iraq.
At one point or another, has worked with every member of the Kids in the Hall.

A some-time actress. I think she has (or had) a gig on Err America, following Randi Rhodes, too. Never heard her show, though.
Some of her movies: "Truth about cats and dogs" and a rip-off of "Meatballs" that's occasionally run on the Comedy Channel.
I've only seen the last 5 minutes of that movie.
And on Fox News, of course. :-)

Hannity is really lowering his standards. Today on his radio show he disagreed with one of the Swift Boat vets, saying that charges of treason against Kerry is "going too far and he can't accept that..."
Hannity's too nice sometimes, I understand it's important sometimes to keep cool when a lib is attacking you with BS. But Hannity overdoes it.
To: VA40
"...You can almost smell her thru your TV.. ..." it seems like she is trying to be a better man than sean...she truly is a "waste of air time".

I *love* how she tries to sound so much more intelligent and educated than she actually is. For one thing, her grammar is atrocious. Another is that her voice is just *awful*.
If I had to listen to her on the radio while driving, I'd hit the gas and go right into oncoming traffic.

He said he was going to try to change her opinion of him. Is he nuts? Libs never see the light because they're too far out in left field. That's what I mean about Hannity. He wants to be liked and he's too afraid to call a spade a spade. And there are times when he sits there and tries to have polite conversations with liberal scumbags. He was even telling Boortz that he wanted to have drinks with Terry McAuliffe during the convention. Hannity just doesn't get it sometimes.

Why would someone stop bathing? I'd like to know if she graduated from high school. I'd be floored if she went to college. You can almost smell her thru your TV.. but she's a foreign policy expert? THe very best was last year, when she claimed in an interview that she watches Al Jazeera.
Now, I have a hard time believing that she understands Arabic (which is the language in which a-J broadcasts), as her grasp on English is tenuous, at best.
