Thanks for the clarification. I have been thinking about her and her age, and having children at that age, and how tough it must be to try to keep weight down. I know I am not that young, and once I passed 40, weight has been a problem. I have gained weight, and am having to work very hard to take it off. But you are correct, it is the lie that she's "had to put away the size 10's" that is so galling. Why lie like that?
Denial, denial, denial. I had a huge neighbor in Wisconsin (where a lot of women are plus size) who told me she was size 8 when she moved from New York a couple years before. Yeah, sure.
It must be murder for Elizabeth to look at the many photos folks are snapping of her next to her thin husband. Now I realize why the only pic on Edwards for Pres website showed only her face with the baby hiding her body.
