Kerry 2004

I want to be the President,
Though all know I can’t lead.
I really want the power though,
It’s really what I need.
I’ll lie and cheat and fabricate,
I’ll flip and flop for sure.
The left’s so dumb they’ll vote for me,
For stupid, there’s no cure.
George Bush lied, I’ll chant and sing,
Though I know it’s not true.
I love America I’ll say,
Another lie for you.
I’ll back the UN’s global push,
No sovereignty for us.
The world rides free at our expense,
We’ll even buy the bus.
Let terror rain down on this land,
We really are to blame.
Oh yes, I fought in Viet Nam,
Four months, then home I came.
Three Purple Hearts for paper cuts,
Like some right of passage.
You bet my name’s John Kerry,
And I approve this message.

Maybe after November, many Rats will abandon the party for their true political home, the Communist Party.

Here is a good read to build some optimism.

For Democrats, the purpose of democracy is to milk government for ever more abundant benefits.

No more accurate line was ever written about Democrats...unless one wants to replace "people" with "government".

No one — neither his colleagues nor his wife nor his supporters nor he himself — has anything good to say about John Kerry except that he served bravely in Vietnam

Who is it here who has this tag-line?

"I served in Vietnam, yadda yadda yadda, I want to be President"

?

I keep thinking of it, and quoting it. It really sums up the whole campaign. Well, that and "... and I'm not Bush."

For Democrats, losing is much worse than for Republicans. For Democrats, the purpose of democracy is to milk government for ever more abundant benefits. Republicans in principle believe in limited government, and thus in a certain way they do even better out of power than when they must exercise it. Democrats without power suffer much more. Democrats go listless, purposeless.

In a minority, Democrats are fairly useless creatures. In victory, they cultivate grand visions of benefits to be shaken from government largesse; defeat, however, freezes the core of their being. Democratic defeat defies the natural order. For them, history halts. What had been an onward rushing tide swirls round and round, becoming still.

Wow! A Steynesque insight. Bump.

Mr. Kerry's speech mentioned only what he will NOT do, instead of what he plans to do to help the country. "Help is on the way"? What on earth does that mean? The economy is humming right along now, 69% of America lives in its own home(the highest number ever), we're squashing terrorist bad guys all over the globe and zillions of people still stream into America every year because it is seen as the land of milk and honey.

Mr. Kerry should be ashamed.

The largest thing he has ever run is a senate office(and he probably leaves that up to staff as do most senators).

Yes, America's in trouble. It's in trouble if Mr. Kerry is elected to the White House.

others will try to drive the party more leftward still.

Well, the rat party is now welcoming communists, socialists and fascists. I suppose there's still room for few Tories carrying the memory of King George III.

I'm actually a little worried about how some of these rabid liberals are going to react when they lose in November. In the twisted world in which they live, nobody supports George Bush so if he wins in November it will be because of some conspiracy between Haliburton and the Electronic Voting Machine companies etc. I.E. they will never admit they actually lost even if it's in a landslide. I really think some of them might decide to go they way of their heros such as the bathists in Iraq and Yasser Arafat, and start setting of car bombs, assasinations etc.

I have been saying for months that I expect the heads that have been so tightly wound with Bush-hatred to explode when he wins. There will inevitably be some strange repercussions from all that malice bursting forth.

I wish I could be as optimistic.

Kerry CONSISTENTLY leads Bush by at least a few points in every poll I've seen.

How does this bode for a Democrat defeat?

The constant beating of the anti-Bush drums by the media, the Holly-weird, the Femi-Nazis, is obviously having an effect, or the horse-faced communist traitor and his ambulance chasing girly-boy would be at polling levels commensurate with the ratio of hard-core Democrats, which is in the low 30s at best.

For the communist traitor and his girly-boy to have numbers in the high 40s in spite of all their deficits is very bad news for Bush, indeed.

What I have found fascinating is this glorification of the killing of this one man by Kerry in Vietnam. Yesterday, one of his boat guys said somehting like - "He was so close I could see the stubble on his face', and then went into details as to how this man chose not to fire on them, ran instead, and Kerry chased him down and shot him.

They seemed to brag about this all this week. The anit-war Democrats...

If Bush bragged about such an event, he would be labeled a cold blodded killer.

GWB has said he wants OBL dead. They showed the Iraqi people pictures of Saddams sons so the Iraqi's qould believe. But GWB does not boast and brag about the deaths of this war over the past two years, nor has he used them as a qualification for his ability to serve as President.
