I agree.
Wouldn't it have been great if he gave a speech about what dems really believe. Surrender, abort, and redistribute wealth (but not our wealth). Of course then they'd lose in a landslide.

Exactly. It would have been great if he gave a Howard Dean rant. But that would have been politically stupid. Sure its bad to the point of being ridiculous but at least he didn't make himself look totally crazy. This was the best that could be expected from a party in meltdown mode.
