Kerry has wanted to run for president for at least 35 years (btw, what is about these Democrats who are so power mad that they set their sites on being president back when they were in junior high?). He wanted to run for president, not as a calling, not because he truly believes he's the man history has thrust forward for this particular time, but simply to BE president. He's Clinton without the charm. He has difficulty fleshing himself out because there's no substance to him. He may wear expensive suits, but they're all still empty.
