Yeah, all those Vets were described as being part of such and such company or division/designation, with the unspoken implication being that they all personally knew John Kerry during the Vietnam War, served with him, or under him. I doubt that's the case.
Funny how the press and Kerry Campaign is quick to announce his 3 purple hearts but very lax in explaining just what those wounds were or how they impact Kerry's life today. Bob Dole had an injured hand from his military service and ran against the obvious "loathes the military" draft dodger Bill Clinton. The "military service" of Kerry does not make him "the better man" for the office of the president and his post-service Vietnam activities fall under treason meaning he is unable to serve as President.
Loading the stage with veterans means that the Swiftboat Veterans Against Kerry are due a voice in the press to answer the DNC talking points.
