Actually, none of my best friends are Jewish. Not by design, just the way it is. The whole thing with Vanunu stunk. What was wrong with his telling the world that Israel was secretly developing nuclear weapons all while playing the victim card in public? He didn't do it for money.
As far as the snide comment hinting at possible anti-Semitism on my part I can answer that readily by saying that I'm usually far more PRO-ISRAEL than most American Jews. Would you feel the same if Israel kidnapped or assassinated someone in the USA? Is it okay for them to blow up a mosque in the USA if they so desire? If it is wrong for them to do it in the USA then it is also wrong when they do it in Italy or any other country that is *friendly* to Israel.
Why does this bug me? Because I'm tired of Israel getting a pass from Americans who are afraid to condemn their bad behavior for fear of being called an anti-Semite, a Nazi, or whatever. I expect that crap from liberals. I Freep because I hate that crap.
