There have been many strange stories like this from that area along the I-35 corridor for years. My understanding is that the darned things had wings. But farmers in Hutto say it looks like a Kangaroo with a goat's head and fangs.

I'm not saying its true. But, I have my own blood-curddling X-files ewperiences from my Austin childhood that I will withold in order not to enter the odd world of Berlitz.... who, by the way has written about these sightings in his books. Badger? If you're reading this... you know what I mean.

I'd like to hear your story. You're protected by your screen name. It's funny you should mention "kangaroo" because in the photos the front legs look kind of smaller and I am reminded of a kangaroo. I'd like to ask the man who shot the animal if it was on its hind legs when it was eating, or if it was on all fours.

Chupacabras are reported to have wings, but that may be just the myth that arose. I'm just baffled that first this animal in Maryland surfaces, and now this. Plus, if it's pregnant, well, there has to be a male, too, and probably more. How can an animal be hidden all this time? I find it fascinating.

Not to muddy the waters, but on the television interview with the woman at the little store in Elmendorf, the woman mentioned that the animal was shot "just after all those UFO sightings happened in Mexico."
